New Updates Available

The last major update was 4.4.1, which was very well received by our community. Nearly a month and a half later, we are ready with our newest update, which contains many new features for the Knob and a lot of improvements for the Commander and Dashboard.
After Tesla released update 2024.14.xx we had to redo our wipers logic and some other features with this update, which you can read below.

Here is what is new in this update:

**Commander v. 4.5.4 / 4.5.5:**

4.5.4 - official version for pre 2024.14
4.5.5 - beta version for 2024.14 and above
*If you have installed Tesla update 2024.14 or newer, and you are a Knob user, visit the Commander Settings tab > Activate Beta firmware toggle and download version 4.5.X.

NEW FEATURES:
- Support added for the new Knob features. Scroll down to the Knob section.

IMPROVEMENTS:
- Improved Commander connection for smartphones that had disconnection issues

BUG FIXES:

1. Dashboard - Fixed kW values in our Dashboard when charging on 3-phase AC chargers;
- The 3-phase home charging did not show the correct value; now the calculation has changed
2. Autopilot MAX used to activate More Cowbell song when the AP Max feature was enabled from the Buttons / Knob / Tile, now the song is muted

 **Knob v 4.5.3:**

NEW FEATURES:

1. Charge Port - Unlock / Open / Close – if a cable is not plugged in, the feature will act like an open-close action. If the charging cable is in, pressing the button will unlock the port.
2. Fog Lights - you can select between Front, Rear, or both at the same time
3. Autopilot [submenu]
- The positions in that submenu are as follows:
*Start your AP
*increase AP to Max Speed- max allowed speed
*Activate the Left Turn signal
*Activate the Right Turn signal
*Dial for Increase/Decrease AP speed
4. Front / Rear Motor Off - turn your LR/P model into an FWD or RWD
- The rear motor is more powerful, and the front motor engages only when needed. It is not an issue to turn one motor off; an example of this is Track mode. The only thing to keep in mind is to monitor the motor temperature, which is also valid with any motor enabled. A customer reported 10% range efficiency in their feedback to us with the front motor disabled in normal weather, mainly a highway trip.
5. Headlights – you can select between Low Beams and High Beams
6. Turn signals – choose between executing on enter left or right turn signal
7. Hazard Lights
8. AC On/Off – Not the entire HVAC system, only the AC unit
9. Defog / Defrost / Off – The first press activates defog, the second one activates defrost, and the third press turns the feature off
10. Recirculation On/Off
11. Left Seat Adjustment [submenu]
12. Right Seat Adjustment [submenu]
13. Side mirrors Dim/Tilt
14. Stopping mode - Roll / Creep / Hold – loops between all three actions

IMPROVEMENTS:

1. Ambient light - white color for the Knob has been added
2. Additional Knob pages – you can now add up to 5 pages to the Knob
3. New Wipers logic added – If you are on Tesla version 2024.14.xx, update the Commander to version 4.5.x, which can be accessed by activating the Beta firmware version toggle from Commander Settings. After doing so, your wipers will work as intended through the Knob.

**S3XY App v. 4.5.3:**

NEW FEATURES:

1. Status Area – now at the left side of the horizontal Dashboard, icons will appear once features are activated through the S3XY buttons/Knob/Tiles

IMPROVEMENTS:

1. Horizontal Dashboard Gauge bars can now be edited by long-pressing on each of them
2. You can hide the Dashboard clock through the Dashboard settings

BUG FIXES:
1. The log-in error message for the Tesla Cloud API will not appear if you have not chosen to sign in to it.

**Removed functions**

Day time running lights (DRLs) removed - due to issues with flickering lights that we did not resolve in a timely manner, we removed temporarily the option until a fix is developed, the removal was also updated at:
